For your child's first visit to the dentist
Three points
Gently and carefully
First, we start by slowly getting you used to the treatment.
We will not perform unreasonable treatment. The focus is on preventing dental caries
We focus on care aimed at eliminating cavities, including fluoride application, sealants, and instruction on proper tooth brushing.Communication with parents is important
We will explain the treatment and the state of your mouth in an easy-to-understand manner.
We strive to provide medical care that will make you think, "I'm glad I came to see you."

With prevention and care that matches your child's growth, you can look forward to a future where you can chew with your own teeth.
Wendy Dental Clinic will fully support your child's "tooth growth"!

If you would like to be seen on the same day because your tooth has started to hurt or a filling or cap has come out, please contact us by phone first.
We will let you know as soon as possible.
Pediatric Dentistry
Pediatric dentistry is a medical department that specializes in dental care for children from infants to junior high school students. We do not simply treat cavities in children, but also provide comprehensive care according to the developmental stage, including tooth development, occlusion, management of oral habits, preventive treatment, and mental care.
Pediatric Dentistry Features
1. Treatment tailored to the child's mind and body
We provide gentle explanations and treatments according to the child's stage of development.
For children who are very afraid of the treatment, we use the Tell-Show-Do method (explain → show → do) to gradually help them get used to the treatment.
2. Cooperation with parents
We will ask about your child's lifestyle, diet, and brushing habits, and also provide support for care at home.
3. Prevention is key
Children's teeth are susceptible to cavities and the condition progresses quickly, so regular fluoride application and cleanings are important.
4. Growth and future management
Our goal is not just to provide temporary treatment, but to ensure long-term oral health and proper alignment of teeth and bite.
Pediatric Dentistry Treatment Contents
・Treatment of tooth decay
We treat cavities in baby and permanent teeth without putting too much strain on the child.
Preventive measures
Fluoride application, sealants (filling grooves in back teeth to prevent cavities), tooth brushing instructions, etc.
・Mental care
We will gently help children who are afraid of dental treatment get used to it.
・Growth observation
Regularly check the progress of tooth replacement, jaw development, and bite alignment.
- Early correction of teeth alignment
If there are any signs of malocclusion (underbite, protruding teeth, open bite, etc.), we will provide guidance and referrals early on.
・Guidance on how to improve habits
Addressing habits that affect development, such as thumb sucking, mouth breathing, and tongue thrusting.
・Trauma treatment
Emergency response for bruised, fractured, or dislocated teeth caused by falls or accidents.

Benefits of visiting a pediatric dentist

✓ Prevents cavities before they occur ✓ Eliminates the scary impression of dentistry ✓ Allows early monitoring of tooth alignment and jaw growth ✓ Leads to review of dietary and lifestyle habits ✓ Reduces the burden of future orthodontic treatment and cavity treatment
When is the best time to start?
When the first baby tooth appears (around 6-10 months of age)
We recommend that you have your child undergo a dental checkup no later than around 1.5 to 2 years of age.
After that, regular checkups every 3 to 4 months are recommended.

Second opinions are also accepted.
We respond to consultations from people who are worried about diagnoses they have received from other clinics, such as "I can't understand the explanations at the clinic where I'm currently receiving treatment," "I was told my only option is to have my teeth extracted," or "I was diagnosed as not being able to undergo implant treatment."
