Microscopic Dentistry

Main features of the microscope

- High magnification and enlarged field of view makes it possible to find cracks in teeth, deep inside root canals, gaps in fillings, and other things that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

-Precise treatment is possible. Treatment is performed only on the necessary areas without removing any excess tooth.

- It is possible to record and save video and images during treatment, so that patients can see the progress of their treatment.

- The powerful lighting with bright light makes even the dark areas inside the mouth bright and clear.

Improved treatment accuracy enables longer-lasting treatment with less risk of recurrence.

Examples of treatments using a microscope

・Root canal treatment (nerve treatment)

It does not miss the thin tubes and branches deep inside the root, and can accurately remove the infected part. It is especially effective for retreatment.

・Precise cavity treatment

Treatment can be performed while preventing any cavities from being left behind or excessive grinding.

・Precise placement of ceramic fillings

The accuracy of fit of fillings and caps has been improved, reducing the risk of recurrence or loss.

・Cracks (tooth cracks)

DiagnosisIdentifying small cracks or fractures helps to save the tooth or avoid extraction.

・Checking the area around the implant

This allows for precise cleaning and treatment of the implant and its surrounding area.
