Handling of personal information in recruitment activities

Wendy Dental Maxillofacial Clinic (hereinafter collectively referred to as "our clinic") will appropriately handle the personal information of those who apply for our recruitment selection process (hereinafter referred to as "recruitment activities") (hereinafter referred to as "applicants") in accordance with the policy described below. The terms "personal information," "personal data," and "retained personal data" in this policy are based on the terms used in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act").

1. Information to be collected

In conducting recruitment activities, we will collect personal information of applicants, including the following:

• Name, email address, telephone number, educational background, work history, qualifications held, current annual income, whether or not you have a disability certificate, whether or not you have a residence card, self-promotional deliverables, and other information listed on the application form (documents provided by applicants to our company for the purpose of applying for employment, regardless of the format, such as resumes, work experience documents, application forms, etc.)

• Information contained in communications between our company and applicants in the form of conversations, telephone calls, emails, etc. for the purpose of interviews and other recruitment activities

• History of application and participation in recruitment activities and selection results in recruitment selection

2. Purpose of use

Our clinic will use personal information obtained from applicants to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes listed below. If we handle personal information of applicants beyond the extent necessary to achieve the purposes listed below, we will do so with the applicant's separate consent.

• To provide applicants with information about and contact them regarding recruitment activities

• To carry out the employment selection procedures for applicants

• To check the applicant's past application records to our company

• To manage applicant information

• To analyze and consider recruitment strategies to make recruitment activities at our hospital more effective

3. Third party provision

Except in the cases listed below, our clinic will not provide personal data to a third party without the prior consent of the applicant.

• When required by law

• When it is necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the applicant's consent.

• When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy child development and it is difficult to obtain the applicant's consent.

• When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local government entity, or a person commissioned by them in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the applicant's consent may hinder the performance of those duties.
